回复 :本片是票房良药之称的王晶早期导演的卖座喜剧电影作品，故事借助水浒英雄、偷天大盗时迁后人引发的连环劫案来搞笑，再加上一帮深具搞笑潜能的演员队伍，真可谓是鬼马王晶“非赌即盗”的得意构思制作。水浒英雄是家喻户晓的故事，很容易引起观众的兴趣；而“鼓上蚤”时迁的后人成为惊天神偷的传人也颇有几分道理；而当时武打明星汪禹饰演的私家侦探与谢贤领衔的贼王对恃的戏剧冲突，更增添了影片的喜剧张力，让人看得绕有兴趣。最后突然又峰回路转，冒出其它神偷作案疑犯，这又大大增加了影片的层次感和厚重度，到底谁才是真正的贼王之王呢？由此可见，王晶能够立足于影坛二十多年，屡屡创造影坛的搞笑奇迹，绝非浪得虚名。本片展现了他早期就对香港影视娱乐市场有着灵敏的嗅觉，在表现形式上爱选择观众易懂的黑色幽默、荒诞冲突以及戏拟效果，是一位近乎胆大妄为的“拿来主义”者，是能够集才气、人气和豪气于一身的电影鬼才。这次本片也划入重新修复发行的邵氏经典名片中，相信对影迷领略王晶早期的电影风格有所帮助。
