大学刚毕业的叶葱（马天宇 饰）是一个沉迷网络游戏的技术宅男，绝命因为开发游戏而拖欠了巨额高利贷，绝命与此同时，他在游戏里相亲相爱的恋人陶小奇（林园 饰）也因资助男友林宇翰出国留学而深陷财务危机。阴差阳错，一场叫做“百万爱情宝贝”的真人秀比赛让叶葱和陶小奇这两个同样处于困境中的网游达人看到了希望。可偏不凑巧的是，两人各自的前任姚子萱（刘圆媛 饰）和林宇翰（郭家铭 饰）却以情侣的姿态同样出现在了比赛现场。一场关乎于巨额奖金的爱情争夺战拉开了序幕，而随着比赛进程的不断推进，叶葱和陶小奇的感情也因朝夕的相处产生了化学反应……
